Personality~ Simba is very courageous. Almost to a dumb point. He'll do a lot to get a point across, and hates to be labelled as a wimp. He wants to be brave because it's one of the first things he thinks of when he thinks about his deceased father.
Simba has a fairly playful nature. he loves games and friendly teasing. Samuel will surely be one of the first people to volunteer for any useless competition. this brings out the fairly competitive part of him, though he will quickly snap out of it as soon as the event in question ends.
Simba is very intelligent. Even from a young age, he was a promising student, grasping things easier than other kids. He also, however, is very naive and impressionable. He often will think things through but will question his own logic in an instant of someone tells him otherwise.
One of Simba's worst traits is how stubborn he is. In the end, loyalty usually beats it out, but he gives a hell of a fight. He will stand by his friends and family until the end, but often second guesses himself.
History ~ Samuel King was born into wealth. His father owned a very successful business. Young Samuel wanted nothing more than to be just like his dad. He was an incredibly bright child, always ready to help his dad. But at the same time he was always naive, and would do incredibly stupid things to impress his dad.
When Samuel was six, he committed a crime. He tried to attack a young boy whose father wasn't being fair to Samuel's own. When a teacher managed to pull him off, Samuel screamed and roared. After news of the fight got out, kids started calling him Simba-- started by a Swahili foreign student's name after hearing about how Samuel had bitten and clawed the other boy. The name, though representing something a bit unsettling, stuck with him.
Samuel's father was killed in an accident when he was very young. His uncle took over the family business and Simba knew that he would never get to a high power. Even though he was told it was an accident, Simba felt as though his father's death was his fault. He ran away from home and lived with a gay couple who were more than happy to shelter the young boy.
Simba is still in school, but hopes to one day return home and take over his family business that was rightfully his.
