Personality~
Byron is obviously a bit delusional. After all, he thinks he has super powers. He's very blind to anything trying to say that he's not. Though not to a frightening point, he thinks very strongly of his "powers". He doesn't actually see anything or hear anything out of the ordinary to support his claims, but he believes them religiously nonetheless.
Bolt is very loyal. Whether it's to his friends, his family, or his fans, he'll go out of his way to make sure they're satisfied with whatever is happening. He's known for making sure he knows all of his fans and they get a little bit of personal time to talk with him. His only problem is figuring out who to help first.
Mr Shepherd is one of the most stubborn men you'll ever meet. He's not afraid to argue with people about anything -- as long as he thinks he's right. People find themselves in quite a fit trying to tell him something he doesn't believe. Bolt will go to extremes to try and prove his point, not caring much what people try to say against it.
All in all, Byron's very playful. Watching the behind the scenes of anything he's in, you'll see that he's always the practical joker. He loves to smile and laugh, sometimes not knowing when it's not the right time to be doing so. Occasionally, he's unaware of where the line is and can find himself irritating people with his fun. He's very much a child on the inside.
History ~
Little Byron Shepherd was born for greatness. He was there for the world to admire and adore from birth. Well, at least that's what his mother, Hannah, thought. Hannah was happily married to a man with a lot of cash. Though she loved him very much, his attention was never enough for her. And since she couldn't manage to have a reality show for her family she went with the next best thing -- a future child star.
From practically the moment he could sit up, Byron was being worked. Whether it was a commercial for baby soap, modeling baby clothing, or a small child for a TV show, casting directors always knew who to call. Byron was on every family's TV in some point or another. People started to know the Shepherd family name. The beautiful mom, the hardworking dad, and, of course, the talented baby.
At the age of 5, Byron was in his first real role on TV. He starred in a drama about a family with super powers, being the little boy named Bolt with many different powers. The show was a huge success, soon blowing up everywhere. People of all ages watched and loved the show, causing it to go on for an outstanding 10 years. Byron stayed in his role all throughout, becoming a household name. Unfortunately, the show had a terible effect on the child. Nobody told him that anything was fake. The special effects were designed to look extremely real and Byron thought they were. His mother didnt want him to fall out of his role, so many things in the house were designed to make her little boy seem like. Real super hero.
When the show ended, Byron was obviously different than other children. He truly, painfully believed that he ha powers. He didn't really show it much through his teen years. But his career stayed big as he starred in movies as well as a small comedy where he was the lead. He kept up his career, managing to stay in the limelight and on the downlow at the same time. Everybody saw him as a talented young actor.
Byron's life started to change when he turned 23. He lived alone in his home, but there was this one paparazzi that just couldn't manage to leave him alone. Eventually, in a fit of irritation, he threatened her with his powers. That's all she needed. It took less than a week for it to be the highlight of celebrity gossip. Now he was known as the delusional boy that thought he had super powers. Nonetheless, nobody could make him believe otherwise. Not his parents, his friends, or the lavishly payed therapist that his agent hired.
Though his career continued, it was much less active than it had been. Eventually, his mother pitched an idea for a documentary, which he knew immediately was going to be about him when she called it "Saving My Son". Byron was angry and didn't want to have any of this happening. So he moved to a little island called Diznae where he would continue his acting in a smaller, less judgmental society.
