RULES
Hey guys! My name is Fantasy, and before I say anything else; Welcome to Realistic Fantasies, the Animation Personified RPG!! Thanks for bothering to check us out! As you may have guessed, this is a Animation Personified RPG; but that will be discussed more in the plot thread. Now, I'm pretty easy going. But a few rules need to be put in place. Please read all of the rules, because in the middle of it is the codeword that you will need in your character application before your character will be accepted.
CONTENT
Content. This rule covers a lot, so pay attention! First of all, cursing is kind of iffy. You can say a few words every so often if it is in your character's personality, but don't take it overboard. No dropping the f-bomb every other sentence, or I'll have to punish you. Keep the content PG-13 as well. No sex, no drugs, etc. That's a Proboards rule that everyone needs to follow. Breaking of this rule will lead to punishment as well. This seems to be the perfect rule to mention the post length - which is four sentences. Bare minimum there, people. You need to give the other roleplayer something to work with! Out of those sentences, only half are allowed to be speaking.
BULLYING
Three words - - Don't do it. Okay, technically that's four words, but nonetheless! Bullying is mean, and can hurt people. Your character can only bully another if it's totally limited to the characters. If you are being bullied, please PM a staff member. Remember, teasing is only teasing when both parties know that it's a joking matter. This rule also includes refusing to roleplay with someone. Treat others how you would want to be treated.
GODMODDING AND POWERPLAYING
This is a rule aimed towards you newbies. Powerplaying is making someone else's character do something - WHICH INCLUDES EVERYTHING FROM GETTING HIT IN A FIGHT TO EVEN A SMALL FACIAL EXPRESSION!! - especially when it's out of character for them. Nobody likes that, okay? I know that it specifically annoys the crap out of me, so I show no mercy with this rule. Godmodding (or Godmoding) is when you make your character perfect. A character without flaws, often known as a Mary-Sue or Gary-Stew, is also very annoying to role play with.Even though I find myself fairly flawless. . .
CHARACTERS
Please remember that you are basing your character off of a Disney character. YOU ARE NOT COPYING! Just for extra emphasis, I will repeat - - COPYING IS BAD! If you need help making your character more original, just PM a staff member, or ask your friends. Trust me, there are plenty of ways. Also remember when making a character that we have to be realistic. If you want Alice from Alice in Wonderland, for example, she can't actually go to Wonderland. If you picked Ariel, she couldn't have been a mermaid earlier in her life. The codeword is Fantasy. My name.
WRITING STYLE
Your roleplaying can be written in first (I, me, we) or third (he, she, him, they) person. No second person. Past and present tense are acceptable (even though I think those are the only tenses. . .). You can use whatever coding you want for your roleplaying as long as it is readable. Try to make your grammar correct. Everybody makes mistakesexcept me, but we need to attempt to make it mostly correct. It won't kill anyone to press that little spell check button at the bottom. No text form either. And try not to use acronymns unless everyone knows what it means.
ACCOUNTS
One account = one character. Sorry, but that's how it works here. You can have as many accounts as you can handle though!
ANYTHING ELSE
Well, I think that pretty much covers everything. Other than the obvious, don't steal things from others. . . Make sure to tell your friends about us. . . Oh, and before I forget, on this website, you can be in as many different threads as you can handle. Fluid time, I think it's called.
Thanks for reading! I hope you decide to join, and have a great day!
