Personality~
Merida DunBroch is not your average young lady. At sixteen, she has just recently moved to Diznae. She's a student, but has decided to help those in need of a hobby learn to shoot a bow and arrow. So, she has lessons at her house every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Aside from that, Merida is quite headstrong, determined even, and is also very free-spirited. She gets her mind set and there's no changing it.. Almost to the point that her mother considers her unruly or defiant from time to time. However, she does try to be kind or to listen to her mother.. Sometimes she's a tad arrogant, as she considers herself "the most skilled archer ever seen" when she talks about her abilities. She can't help it; she is quite good. She's attached to animals, as well as her bow. In fact, she would really be content in the woods with a bow and her horse. Nonetheless, she gets along with people fine. Merida is passionate and fiery, headstrong, athletic, and wreckless. She cares strongly for her family and friends, gets mad quickly, but forgives just as easy. She's just Merida.

History ~
It was a sunny day in June when miss Merida DunBroch was brought into the world. She was born deep in the hills of Scotland to Elinor and Fergus DunBroch. Her parent's summerhome was located in these hills, and it was a peaceful enough place to bring a baby into the world. She was raised in a very loving situation. Her parents were both well-off. Elinor and Fergus both came from very powerful, ruling families of Scotland. They gave up their crowns and kingdoms, however, when they choose to get married. The kingdoms were longtime rivals and neither wanted their rulers to have anything to do with the opposite. So, the crowns were given up. That wasn't to say the inheritence stopped, however. They were wealthy, regardless.

And, Elinor didn't hesitate to live that way. She taught Merida from a young age how to be a princess and to behave like a young woman should. They travelled frequently. Fergus got a new job as a local politician/taxodermist. Elinor was also quite involved in politics.

Aside from that, her childhood was quite normal. When she was four, she recieved a bow and arrow set from her father. Quincedentally, her father also lost his leg to a bear that day trying to help her hunt. Since then, however, Merida has gotten quite good at archery. She's also developed an overbearing (xD) fear of bears.

She now has three little brothers. Triplets. Hamish, Hubert, and Harris. They're quite ornery and much younger than she. In fact, they're ornery enough that Elinor dropped out of politics and began to stay home full time. They eventually relocated to Diznae after the triplets pulled one irreversible prank to cause quite a bit of heat between the family and Merida's relitives. Well, that, and Merida's mother felt that she was getting too close to an old woman from the hills who believed in witch craft. So, basically, they now reside here.
